Or is it? It's been in the mid 80's Farenheit last week, not typical Fall weather. Amelie has had about a month in school now and she's really liking it now. It was quite a journey to get to this level. The first two weeks Mom stayed with her throughout her day. The second week Papa took her and stressed to her that he needed to go to work, so he wouldn't stay the day. The drive to school was great, but when it came time to give Papa his hug goodbye, all bets were off. Much drama ensued! The second day was worse because now she knew that I was gonna leave. She cried during the whole drive and the teacher had to tear her off of me. The good news is that everyday, when Mommy comes to pick her up, she's in the best of spirits!
Last week was a lot better. Only a little bit of weeping as I was leaving. I bet by next week she wont' even cry anymore.
Daniella wakes up only once at night, at around 4am. She's been having problems with her tummy, so we switched her to a soy based formula. She's a trooper though, because despite the obvious discomfort she tries to smile a lot. It's so different from when she was about a month old and only smiled in her sleep involuntarily!
To our families and friends all over the world
We hope that this blog will be useful to all who are so far away. Hopefully we won't get too busy to update it from time to time.
Better late than never
It took a while to finally sit down and upload some pictures, but here are some shots from Halloween 2007.
